High quality carbon tail boom #224 that we use on our prime RES series models. The tail boom is tapered from wide end ID 15 mm / 0.59" on the pod, to narrow end OD of 10 mm / 0.393" at the tail in order to reduce the aerodynamic drag, total tailboom length is 870 mm / 34.25".

It is made from several carbon types. We are using only the finest 1K aero carbon fiber material in combination with +-45° oriented carbon unidirectional non-crimp carbon fiber which are strategically positioned so the boom has maximum strength with minimum weight.

We used resin which has certificate for aero building and Atest, and the tail boom is additionally heated so it get its maximum strength.
