Description

The newest CLM Pro electric fuselage set #136 is suitable for wingspan up to 4 meters / 158". Set contains fine aramid electric pod, carbon tailboom and V-mount. Made of fine aramid and carbon fiber material. 2.4 GHz friendly. Set weighs 175 grams / 6.17 oz. ALES, F5J.

This electric aramid fuselage set is designed so that it has beautiful aerodynamic lines, it is slightly curved from the top of the pod to the end of the tailboom, so it looks very elegant and sophisticated when flying, is easy on the eyes and, most importantly, possesses excellent flight characteristics. The latest improvement is that it is made from two parts, which means it is easier to maneuver and change components of competitive models even during competitions. The pod is large and strong enough to easily carry 4-meter / 158" wings. The fuselage set #136 can be used for various purposes in various categories, such as F5J, ALES, and other homebuild projects or replacements for a pre-existing model.

The set contains an electric aramid pod in two pieces, carbon tailboom and carbon V-mount.

Electric aramid pod:
The electric pod in two pieces is completely made of composites (multiple types of materials). It is molded, so its surface is perfectly smooth and shiny. It has been made of fine aramid material, and has carbon fiber reinforcements on strategic spots, giving it additional strength to endure heavier straining. It is strong enough to withstand even hardcore landings and other forces. 2.4 GHz friendly.

The pylon is 305 mm / 12" long i additionally strengthened with multiple types of material and layers, so the wings may be up to 300 mm / 11.80" in depth, but even larger ones can be mounted. Dihedral angle of pylon is 2.4° on each side.

The canopy is designed in a way that there is enough space to easily manipulate all the components in the pod, allowing the battery to be inserted and connected easily, improving usability on the field. The edges around the canopy are also reinforced with carbon.
It is supplied with a removable carbon canopy.

This pod is suitable for wingspans of up to 4 meters / 158". Due to its two-part construction, it is suitable for competitions in the F5J or ALES category. It is ideal for home builders, as it can be used as a replacement pod for other projects, too.

Carbon tailboom:
Carbon tailboom is 905 mm / 35.62" long and weights 60g / 2.11 oz.
Carbon tail boom is made from several carbon types. Materials are strategicaly positioned so the boom is of its maximum strength and minimum weight.
The end of the tailboom is slightly curved downwards, which improves aerodynamics and the visual appearance of the whole set and, of course, the model during flight.

Carbon V-mount:
Carbon V-mount has ID of 18 mm / 0.70" and weights 6 grams / 0.21 oz.
You get few different bolts with it.
